Commentary
A record player equipped with a linear slotless motor.
It adopts a direct drive system using a newly developed linear slotless motor.
This motor uses a linear drive system to obtain a stable and constant torque. Moreover, because of its flat structure, the coil and magnet come closer to each other, increasing efficiency.
A magne-disk servo system is used for the detection part of the servo system.
A wide range of 512 wave detection signals are magnetized on the periphery of the turntable, and an average value of these signals is detected by a 6-tooth multi-gap head to improve detection accuracy.
Equipped with a full auto mechanism capable of auto lead-in, Oatley turn, auto cut and auto repeat.
Although it is a mechanical type, it realizes smooth operation by unique clutch mechanism.
Uses a front control, allowing operation with the dust cover closed.
Manual operation is possible by switching the size selector.
The tone arm adopts a static balance type that uses precision pivot bearing for the bearing part.
The cartridge is equipped with XL-15 which is a MM type cartridge.
It uses a conical damper to suppress unnecessary vibration caused by friction between the sound groove and needle tip, a pole piece block made of carbon fiber, and a cross magnetic circuit with excellent left and right balance.
A 32 cm aluminum die-cast turntable has been adopted.
The cabinet is made of wood with a walnut finish, and has a newly designed insulator to reduce howling.
