Commentary
A compact full auto player with unified size with the components of the Liberty Series.
The rotating system uses a 3-stage block consisting of a linear BSL motor, a magne-disk speed detector, and a quartz lock.
By removing the brush and slot from the DC motor, the linear BSL motor eliminates the mechanical torque change called cogging and achieves quiet and smooth rotation, while being more efficient and providing higher torque.
In the magnet-disk speed detection, a multi-gap head detects the mean value of the detection signal, which is magnetized at high density on the turntable, and detects minute changes in the rotational speed. Also, since the generated signal frequencies are relatively high, servo compensation is possible up to the higher frequencies of the flutter components.
It uses a quartz lock and utilizes the high oscillation accuracy of quartz to obtain stable rotational characteristics even with changes in ambient temperature and power supply voltage and frequency.
Equipped with Iori, light needle pressure high compliance MM type cartridge XL-200 with low mass / straight arm.
The front operated feather touch control allows operations such as start, stop, repeat, and rotation number switching to be performed with the dust cover closed. In addition, the use of end detection with a contactless Luminous sensor prevents excessive lateral pressure from being applied to the needle tip.
Equipped with a muting mechanism that reduces noise when the needle tip and the record board come into contact.
Equipped with an opto-electronic disc size selector, it can automatically select the size of the record and accurately lead in the arm.
By using the sync unit sold separately, it is possible to play synchronized with the cassette deck.
