Commentary
A direct-drive player system that employs a magnedisk servo.
A magne-disk servo is used for the detection part of the servo motor.
An 8-element multi-gap head (MGH) is used to detect the average value of 512 detection signals, which are magnetized over a wide range around the periphery of the turntable. This improves servo detection accuracy.
