Commentary
Compact 280 mm wide MD deck.
20-bit processing wide bit stream technology has been introduced. The newly developed digital processing LSI for ATRAC is the key device. The signal processing of digital data to the A/D converter, sampling rate converter, and D/A converter is performed with over 16-bit accuracy to improve the sound quality of the Mini Disc.
Equipped with a sampler converter that automatically converts sampling frequencies such as 32 kHz or 48 kHz to 44.1 kHz.
The beep function can be switched on / off to confirm the contents of the button operation with sound.
It is equipped with a music sync recording function. Simply press the Music Sync button on the remote control and start playback of the connected CD player or cassette deck. It detects the input of a music signal and starts recording automatically.
It is equipped with a time machine recording function, and if you press the multi-jog dial in the recording pause state, the sound recorded up to 6 seconds before is recorded on the disc.
Equipped with a smart space function, it can automatically adjust silence periods of 3 seconds or longer to approximately 3 seconds during digital recording.
It is equipped with a TOC EDIT function that allows editing such as linking, splitting and moving songs, and an UNDO function that allows you to cancel the last editing operation and return to the state before editing.
It is also equipped with a rehearsal function that lets you check edit points in COMBINE and DIVIDE. You can move edit points finely in up to -128 steps to + 127 steps (one step is approximately 0.06 seconds).
Equipped with an A-B ERASE function that allows you to erase between two specified points in a song.
Equipped with a timer standby function that can be combined with an optional timer for recording and playback.
It is equipped with a monaural recording and playback function that can be used to double the disc length.
It is equipped with a title function that allows you to enter up to approximately 1,700 characters for each disc.
In addition to alphabets and symbols, Katakana is also available. You can input Katakana characters with the FOMA terminal or remote controller. You can also input Katakana characters using the Remote Commander RM-D10P (sold separately).
Equipped with disk in and auto power function.
The SCMS (Serial Copy Management System) allows digital recording only for one generation and does not allow digital recording for two or more generations.
There are 2 variations, black and silver.
