Commentary

MD recorder / player capable of remixing by MD.

By digitally recording material songs on the MD and using the disc editing function, phrase sampling like a sampler is possible.
In addition, it is equipped with a unique backtrack recording function that allows you to record in the unrecorded portion of the MD that is being played. You can record in real time a remix play with another source using a mixer, and use the recorded sound as remix material again like a sampler.

Equipped with the HOT START function, you can freely assign any 8 songs in the MD to 8 keypads, and start instantly with no time lag from the state in which the beginning part of the song is stored in advance. In addition, the setting state of the HOT START function is automatically recorded in the TOC of the disk, and if you set the same disk, you can immediately stand by in the same state as many times as you want.

Equipped with 8 Cue point memory, Cue point is 1 point per song, up to 8 songs out of 32 songs can be stored and assigned to the keypad. Cue point can be adjusted while monitoring by moving the scrub dial back and forth while pressing the Cue button from the pose state.
In addition, fine adjustment is possible only with the scrub dial.

Equipped with an 8-pad x4-bank auto-assign function, you can automatically assign up to 32 songs from a disc or program to an 8-pad x4-bank according to the order of songs. This allows you to select songs directly by pressing the keypad while switching banks.

Equipped with a seam lace loop function, you can continuously repeat the set IN/OUT point section in real time without interruption during playback. Also, with the リループボタン, you can loop playback of the set section with one touch even after the loop is released.

When you turn the large scrub dial in a pause state, you can perform digital scrubbing in both forward and reverse directions at a playback speed corresponding to the rotation speed.

With the speed / pitch independent control fader, you can adjust the store and key precisely according to the music to be connected, or change the pitch while keeping the store as it is in the middle of the music.

It is equipped with an auto pause and auto queue function which is convenient for narration of each song and SE playback.

The TOC EDIT function, which also allows UNDO, enables disk editing with 1/86 second accuracy.

Equipped with a sampling rate converter.

Sold separately, there was a 2-row type foot switch that can be connected to MDS-DRE1 for recording / playback operation.
