CDP-302ES
Commentary

This CD player inherits as much as possible the design philosophy of the high-end CDP 502 es.

High-speed linear motor tracking mechanism is adopted.
It is an ideal tracking system integrating a newly developed linear motor for CD players into an optical block. It realizes high-speed access with a selection time of one second from the first song to the last song on the disc.
In addition, reliability and durability are greatly improved by the integrated structure of the drive system and optical system without any conversion mechanism such as gears. Furthermore, the entire mechanical block is made into a floating structure to minimize the influence of external shocks.

The D/A converter, digital filter A converter, digital filter and EFM de-modulator are operated synchronously by the master clock, no beat occurs due to the interference of two or more clocks. This eliminates the influence of the digital system on the analog system and increases the freedom of analog circuit design.

The digital filter oversamples the digital signal to increase the frequency distance between the unwanted high-frequency components and the music signal.
As a result, the passband of the low-pass filter after D/A conversion can be widened and the attenuation characteristics can be made smooth, resulting in good phase characteristics.

Uses a highly rigid chassis with separate mechanical and amplifier parts.
In addition, we have adopted an analog circuit designed with sound resin in which the amplifier section is an LR twin mono configuration.

It uses a power supply circuit with emphasis on sound quality that uses a ± stabilized power supply with separate digital and analog sections and a large Z-core power supply transformer.

An audio-only broadband operational amplifier developed in Shinkai is used.

LC-OFC wire rod is used for signal system.

The operation speed is further increased and the linear skating system of push loading which closes even when the disk is pressed is adopted.

Equipped with an output variable headphone terminal.

Equipped with a SIRCS terminal compatible with system remote controllers such as Sony's "The Session".

It is equipped with an RMS function that allows you to store up to 16 songs in the desired order and play them continuously.

It is equipped with an index search function that can specify the index number recorded on the disk and can directly call up the tune or lyric part you want to hear.
