ES series CD player.

The digital filter uses a 96th order 2 x oversampling FIR type digital filter to improve the group delay characteristics and waveform reproducibility.
The analog filter is a 5th-order active analog filter.

The D/A converter is equipped with a D/A converter for the left and right channels independently. This reduces the phase difference between the two channels to 0, improving the sound spread in each direction of vertical, horizontal, and depth.
The D/A converter uses a high-speed 16-bit type.

The servo circuit uses S servo, a predictive control method.
When a newly developed RFIC detects the size of a fault on the disk, the S servo uses a microcomputer to predict the periodicity of the fault by high-speed calculation and controls the servo amount appropriately. The prediction accuracy is as high as 8,000 times per second, and the accuracy is constant regardless of the inner and outer circumference of the disk at different rotational speeds. This greatly improves the tracing capability and minimizes disturbance of servo current.

Newly developed linear motor drive optical mechanism is adopted for the mechanism part.
In the base of this mechanism, a cemented base unit is used, which is made by composite molding of special ceramic containing powder with metals. It has excellent characteristics that it itself does not vibrate easily and that even if it vibrates, it quickly attenuates.
Combined with the overall floating structure, the mechanism is less susceptible to vibration.

It uses a third generation LSI with higher integration and improves reliability by simplifying peripheral circuits.
In addition, this LSI makes up a high-precision unilinear converter system, and by fully synchronizing the digital circuit after the digital filter with one master clock, beat generation is suppressed to 0 in principle.

Vibration is reduced by using a large insulator and a highly rigid chassis.

An audio dedicated carbon resistor is used for the analog circuit.
We are also improving sound quality by using OFC power cords with polarity indication, gold-plated output terminals, non-magnetic OFC heat sinks, and copper screws.

The power supply section uses a large-capacity power transformer with digital / analog independent power supply circuit.
