In addition, the PCM 553 ESD can be used as a D/A and A/D converter unit.
In addition to the 14-bit EIAJ format, it is also equipped with the same 16-bit format as CD and professional machines.
The 16-bit and 14-bit formats are easily switchable, and for compatibility, tapes recorded in 16-bit can be played on other 14-bit systems.
Equipped with an Optimal Video Condition (OVC) function that allows you to set the data reading level of the VCR in the long-time mode to an appropriate value while watching the 3-point indicator.
As a result, it can be combined with most video decks, and can record and play back up to 8 hours with high sound quality even in long-time mode.
