SONY TAE-S1
¥ 38,000 (around 1995)
Commentary
Stereo preamplifier of the Component Series.
In order to send a pure music signal to the power amplifier, we use a direct link that keeps the signal path between the audio board and the front panel as short as possible.
Equipped with a source direct switch that bypasses the tone control circuit, etc.
It uses a shaft drive in which the volume body and knob are connected by a long shaft gold-plated input / output terminal.
Wireless remote control is included.
This remote control not only controls the TAE-S1 itself, but also controls other Component Series units connected to the audio bus, such as Sony CD players and MD decks with wireless remote control.
