SONY TA-VE700
¥ 49,000 (released in 1997)
Commentary
An AV amplifier that supports Dolby Pro Logic and 3-1 stereo, and also has a rear stereo function.
Equipped with 12 types of surround mode, you can choose freely according to your mood.
Equipped with rear stereo function.
In conventional surround systems, two speakers were placed in the rear, but the sound emitted was the same (monaural). The TA-VE700 uses a phase-shift technology to create a more active sense of spaciousness by making the rear sound into a pseudo-stereo, which makes it possible to reproduce a sound field with more scale and depth than before.
All front L/R and center are equipped with 150W power amplifiers.
It is compatible with 3-1 stereo of Hi-Vision standard, and you can enjoy the original sound of Hi-Vision by connecting with HD sound output of Hi-Vision TV.
Cursor key operation is adopted to improve operability.
Digital Processing Control (DPC) is also available with cursor keys. The cursor keys are also included in the attached remote control for tuning in the actual listening position.
As the heat sink for the power transistor, we have adopted a high-rigidity aluminum heat sink that has high heat radiation effect, suppresses harmful vibration, and does not cause muddy sound.
There is also an input terminal on the front, which can be used to connect portable devices.
Remote controller with learning function is included.
This remote control can operate not only the amplifier itself but also Sony's AV equipment. If it is an infrared remote control type, it can also operate other manufacturers' equipment by reading remote control signals.
