TA-FA33ES
Commentary

ES series pre-main amplifier that uses MOS-FET.

MOS-FET, which has excellent characteristics as an amplifying element, is used in the power stage and drive stage of the power amplifier section.
In addition, a fixed optical bias circuit is used for the circuit system, and an optical element with the same temperature characteristics as the MOS-FET is inserted into the bias circuit to keep the idling current constant.

A torus / toroidal transformer is used for the power supply.
In this transformer, the cross-section of the iron core (core) is oval to improve the adhesion between the core and coil and reduce vibration. In addition, the total length of the winding can be shortened to lower impedance and increase power capacity at the same size.

The Advanced S. T. D. power supply is used for the power circuit. Voltage fluctuation is suppressed by separating the voltage amplifier stage and the power amplifier stage, and sound image localization is ensured even at high output.

New FB chassis with increased thickness of 1.2 mm is used for the chassis.
The TA-FA33ES greatly improves the composite by strengthening the beam passed back and forth.

It has adopted a slant mount board, which is installed with the board tilted, and suppresses standing wave generation in the chassis and reduces resonance.

Using a pure input circuit, the contact points from the input terminal to the master volume are greatly reduced.
In addition, a circuit design that does not use connectors as much as possible for the wiring between the internal blocks ensures straight signal transmission.

With a source direct switch, the tone control circuit and balance control circuit can be bypassed if they are not required.

The internal layout uses twin monaural construction with separate left and right power amplifiers.
In addition, by adopting a 3-block configuration in which the pre-part, power part and power part are clearly separated in the chassis, good channel separation with less crosstalk is obtained.

An eccentric insulator is used for the leg part to reduce vibration from the floor.

It has an input terminal that supports both MM and MC cartridges.

Wireless remote control is included.
The remote also provides basic control over Sony audio components such as CD players.
