Commentary

This pre-main amplifier is small in size and focuses on sound quality, operation feeling, and finish.

The power supply section is equipped with a torus toroidal transformer jointly developed with a transformer manufacturer.
In this transformer, the winding tension of the wire is increased by making the cross section of the core (iron core) of the transformer oval, which is usually square, and vibration is reduced to less than 1/4 compared with conventional products, thus realizing a compact power supply with excellent sound quality.
The S. T. D. power supply is used to supply power independently to the pre-section (voltage amplification stage), which handles small signals, and the power section (power amplification stage), which handles large signals. In this system, the voltage fluctuation of the power section is prevented from reaching the pre-section even at the time of large output by separating and separating it at the stage of the rectifying circuit, and high drive performance is obtained even for low impedance speakers.

MOS-FET is used for both the drive stage and final stage of the power section.
The MOS-FET has a high input impedance that allows it to be electrically isolated from the previous stage, making it difficult for noise current to flow. In addition, the MOS-FET has a smooth sound quality with little odd-order distortion, which is easy to hear. In the power stage, it is mounted in a single push-pull configuration with little crossover distortion. The bias circuit also takes advantage of the high thermal stability characteristic of MOS-FET, and uses a fixed optical bias circuit with a fixed current value. This stabilizes the operation of the output stage.

The power transistors are mounted directly on a rigid chassis, effectively reducing vibration and eliminating the bulky heat sink for heat dissipation.

The TA-F5000 uses aluminum and steel, two materials with different natural frequencies, and has a damping effect that cancels out resonance.
The front panel is made of aluminum with a thickness of 10m mm.

The legs use an eccentric insulator that does not have strong peaks against external vibration.

The tone and balance circuit uses a center defeat volume of the same grade as the master volume.
This volume has a structure in which the tone control circuit and balance circuit are separated from the signal path when the knob is set to the center position, so that the signal does not pass through the extra circuit and the switch itself can be eliminated, so that more pure sound quality can be obtained.

Parts such as resistors and condensers are carefully selected from high quality materials that have been carefully examined in terms of sound quality.

A noise cut input selector is used for input switching.
This method employs a structure in which the input of unselected source devices is separated by using a relay, and there is no crosstalk between source devices.

A CR-NF phono equalizer amplifier and a head amplifier for the MC cartridge are also included.

Built-in pre-out output terminal.
