Commentary

In addition to simple and separate transmission, this pre-main amplifier uses a pre-power separate structure to achieve higher quality.

In simple and straight transmission, we seek to locate components at the shortest distance along the signal flow and prevent degradation of sound quality due to electrostatic coupling between wires and components.
In addition, the volume components are arranged along the signal flow to eliminate unnecessary routing of print patterns and wires. In the power amplifier section, power transistors, which are difficult to attach directly to printed circuit boards because they generate high heat, are made possible by using heat pipes with thermal conductivity several hundred times that of metal rods of the same diameter.

Pulse power supply is used for the power supply part.
The pulse power supply instantly turns 100 VAC into DC, preventing 50Hz/60Hz AC magnetic field, contributing to the non-fluxing of the amplifier. In addition, the voltage fluctuation corresponding to the change of the signal is suppressed, and the signal can flow directly electrically.

The power amplifier section uses a DC power amplifier configuration, and the power transistor uses Hi-f, which was born from Sony's original semiconductor engineering._TTransistor is used.
Since this transistor has excellent high-speed response characteristics, dynamic distortion such as transient intermodulation distortion can be suppressed with a simple circuit, preventing the adverse effect on sound quality caused by the complication of the circuit.

Features such as self-defeat tone control and bidirectional tape copying are included.

Uses a gold plated phono terminal.
