Commentary
This is a DC pre-main amplifier that uses a pulse power supply with superior regulation compared to conventional power supply.
The pulse power supply turns DC as soon as AC100V is supplied to the amplifier, eliminating the influence on the hum signal system.
Class A pure complimentary service SEPP is used as the basic circuit of the equalizer amplifier. In addition to the RIAA feedback circuit, a DC-feedback circuit using an FET is provided to stabilize the operating point.
We also use carefully selected polypropylene capacitors and high-precision resistors for RIAA devices.
In addition, the MC input reduces the equivalent noise resistance by connecting three low-noise transistors in parallel, and increases the gain of the low-noise equalizer amplifier so that it functions in the same way as the built-in head amplifier.
The power amplifier section uses Morichic ICs in the driver stage to stabilize operation and improve reliability. The group consists of pure complimentary service SEPP circuits using power transistors with good linearity.
The tone control employs a self-defeat tone control that automatically weakens the tone circuit when the knob is set in the center position.
The tone amplifier is NF type and the element uses carefully selected parts.
It uses 4 connected volume to improve SN at low volume.
Equipped with a 2-system tape monitor switch that can be used with 2 tape decks.
Also equipped with a bidirectional tape copy switch that can copy from Tape1 to 2 and from 2 to 1 regardless of the signal of the amplifier body.
Equipped with a 3-position mode switch of Reverse/Stereo/Mono.
