Commentary
A pre-main amplifier that inherits the circuit system and sound quality policy of TA-AX8/TA-AX7.
Using the audio current transfer method, the music signal is converted into a current signal, and the voltage is taken out again by the linear gain controller using the power amplifier input. This makes the internal impedance of the preamplifier as seen from the power amplifier infinite and electrically separates the preamplifier from the power amplifier and the left and right channels.
For volume, linear gain controller is used instead of attenuator type volume.
The linear gain controller is a 2-terminal gain controller that generates a pure input voltage to the power amplifier stage. As the gain decreases, the impedance decreases, resulting in improved sound quality in actual use.
Legato linear system is used for power amplifier section.
In the Legato linear system, the high-speed output Hi-ft transistor is operated in the minimum cut-off region without changing the bias or the power supply voltage, thereby realizing low distortion over a wide band / wide dynamic range.
Straight transmission using a heat pipe is realized.
Pulse power supply is used.
A constant-current shunt regulator is used for the power supply of the preamp section. This allows the power supply to the preamp section to be converted into a strong constant-current power supply before it is supplied to the preamp section. This reduces interference with the power amplifier section.
High-quality components such as high-speed rectifier diodes and large-capacity green capacitors are used.
Magnetic materials are eliminated from components as much as possible.
