Commentary
Equipped with microcomputer controlled ASP, this pre-main amplifier is complete with simple and straight.
At the center of the control is a microcomputer-controlled ASP (Audio Signal Processor) with a distortion factor of less than 0.002% and a signal-to-noise ratio of more than 100 dB, enabling simple and straight audio signal transmission.
It uses an all-push control in which the main parts including the 1 dB-step digital volume are feather-touched.
Legato linear system is used for power amplifier section.
In this method, dynamic distortion such as switching distortion and crossover distortion is reduced by using an orthodox and simple fixed bias method in terms of circuit without adopting a method of moving bias value or changing power supply voltage value.
Dynamic distortion occurs because the operating range of the amplifying element used is narrow and the response speed in the high-frequency range is slow. To improve this, we have adopted a Hi-ft transistor with a wide operating range and a high response speed. By working in the ultra-cut-off range, the characteristic that no switching distortion is observed in the ultra-high-frequency range is realized.

You can preset a total of three frequency characteristics : a flat state and any two of 1764 frequency characteristics that can be achieved by operating the Tone (± 5 levels for Bass/Treble), Turnover Frequency (2 positions for Bass/Treble), Sub Sonic, and High Filter.
With an electronic level adjustment function, you can preset the level difference between the Phono/Aux/Tape1/2 by ± 10 dB relative to the input level of the Tuner.
It is equipped with a concentrated display by 2-color fluorescent display tube.
In addition to the decibel display of volume, balance, and muting, the control state of frequency characteristics is displayed in a centralized manner with a two color fluorescent display.
Straight transmission using a heat pipe is adopted.
