Commentary
An AV amplifier equipped with Dolby Pro Logic and DSP with ES technology.
In addition to the digital signal processing of the delay and decoder circuits, the auto-input balance and test tone circuits are also processed by digital signals.
The power amplifier section contains a 5-ch power amplifier.
Especially, the front and center power amplifiers are all discrete components.
ES Technology S. T. D. power supply (Spontaneous Twin Drive) is used for the power supply circuit. In this power supply circuit, the rectifying circuit to the power amplifier section is separated into the A-class stage and the power stage. Interference between the A-class stage and the power stage is suppressed to improve sound quality.
The reverb, dynamics and multi-channel equalizer use digital processing with DSPs.
Equalization is Bass, Mid mid / Treble, the dynamics control is a 9-step compressor / expander control, and the reverbation control is a 6-item main parameter control and a 2-item subparameter control.
There are 10 surround modes, and the theater mode and live concert mode are performed by DSP and Dolby ProLogic Decoder to realize sound fields in movie theaters and concert halls
The A/D converter uses a High Density Linear Converter System.
The D/A converter uses an advanced pulse D/A converter for front / center / rear.
The center channel uses a dual-center system that connects two speakers.
The input / output terminals are equipped with 7 input / output systems for S-Video in addition to 7 input / output systems and Route 3 for Video, 7 input / output systems for S-Video, 2 input / output systems for Audio, 2 input / output systems for Audio, 2 optical systems and 1 coaxial system for Digital. Line 5
In addition, it has a center output and a mono output that can be connected to a subwoofer.
It is equipped with a mix mode that can output any combination of video and audio sources.
The video circuit uses a wide-band video amplifier with a horizontal resolution of more than 1,000 lines.
Normal video input cannot be output to S-video ; DSP-applied signals can only be output in analog form.
Center output is available for three modes : Dolby, Theater, and Live Concert.
There are 2 variations, black and titanium gray.
A programmable remote controller is included.
