Commentary

AV amplifier equipped with Dolby Pro Logic & DSP equipped with digital input / output terminal.

It is equipped with an input Route 3 and one output optical digital connector. In the case of digital connection, digital signals can be directly input to the DSP section without going through the A/D conversion process. This enables digital surround playback with excellent distortion, noise characteristics and separation characteristics.

The DSP is equipped with Dolby Pro Logic and 8-mode sound field programs. It also has four built-in parameters for sound field adjustment, such as room size and seat position. In the two modes of Theater and Live Concert in particular, you can add the sound effects of a movie theater and a concert hall to the output of a Dolby Surround Decoder, making it possible to enjoy Dolby stereo movie and music sources more effectively.

A video input with S-Video is installed in Route 6, an audio input is installed in Line 5, and a 4-channel audio / 5-input terminal for 3-1 stereo of HDTV broadcasting is installed.

It has a through playback function.

Equipped with front, rear and center independent adjustable tone control.
The front and rear are 2-band systems, and the center can be selected from five center frequencies.

The center channel supports a dual center system that allows two speakers to be connected.

It is equipped with a mix mode that can output any combination of video and audio sources.

There were 2 kinds, TA-AV790D in black color and TA-AV790DG in titanium gray with side wood.
Some display colors differ between the TA-AV790D and TA-AV790DG.

A programmable remote controller is included.
