Commentary
An AV amplifier equipped with Dolby Pro Logic and DSP with ES amplifier technology.
In addition to the Dolby surround mode, there are four DSP surround modes. The theater mode combines the DSP and Dolby prologic decoder to reproduce the sound effects of a movie theater.
In addition, Dolby Surround is equipped with auto input balance.
All power amplifiers in the front, center and rear have discrete components.
The center channel uses a dual-center system that allows two speakers to be connected.
Equipped with newly developed Dolby Pro Logic IC.
Equipped with multi-tone control that can control the sound quality of front, center and rear independently.
In order to pursue a vibration-free and resonance-free design, we have adopted a G-chassis structure.
The G chassis is made of unsaturated polyester with calcium carbonate, the main component of marble, and reinforced with glass fiber. Compared with metal, this material has higher internal loss and superior vibration damping characteristics. Moreover, it has higher strength and can be processed with high precision. The G chassis is made by molding this material into a shape that is acoustically examined, and realizes a strong chassis structure.
In addition, because of its non-magnetic and non-metallic nature, it does not generate electro-striction or eddy current induced by magnetic fields of transformers and condensers, and has succeeded in reducing sound quality degradation.
S. T. D. power supply (Spontaneous Twin Drive) is used for the power supply part.
In this power supply circuit, the rectifying circuit to the power amplifier section is separated into the A-class stage and the power stage. By suppressing interference between the A-class stage and the power stage, sound quality is improved.
The power amplifier section uses audio Chemi-Con for which sound quality has been examined and audio resistors coated with non-magnetic insulating paint.
The AV function is equipped with 7 input / output systems for S-Video in addition to 7 input / output systems and Route 3 for Video, while the audio system is equipped with 2 input / output systems for Audio Line 5.
It is equipped with a mix mode that can output any combination of video source and music source.
Equipped with a Rec out selector that allows you to record CDs while watching video.
A wide-band video amplifier with a horizontal resolution of over 1,000 lines is used for the video circuit.
A programmable remote controller is included.
There were 2 types, TA-AV670 in black color and TA-AV670G in titanium gray with side wood.
Normal video input cannot be output to S-video, and center output is available only in two modes : Dolby / Theater.
