Commentary

This is a pre-main amplifier that makes full use of the technology of F group which is a high-class series.

All stages of the power amplifier are directly connected and no coupling or condenser is used.
In addition, the high-reliability silicon transistor developed by Sony's semiconductor engineering team does not reduce output, distortion characteristics and damping factor even in low frequencies, unlike output circuits using conventional capacitors, and improves low-frequency reproduction.

The preamp section fully uses transistors developed especially for low-noise applications.
A 2-stage direct connection NFB type circuit is used, which combines an equalizer amplifier, a flat amplifier and an NPN-PNP type transistor.
In addition, the S/N and dynamic range have been improved by increasing the power supply voltage of the equalizer amplifier.

The tone control uses the NFB method, which has excellent characteristics and no degradation of sound quality.
The turn-over and roll-off frequency can be switched between High and Low, and can always be controlled to the best condition according to the sound quality of the program source and the sound characteristics of the listening room.

There is an input switching mechanism that allows copying between two tape recorders without changing the connection.

Center channel terminal is mounted.

Equipped with a selector switch that can use 2 pairs of speakers.

The Input Selector is equipped with Sony's own Quick Access Selector, which solves the complicated operations that often occur when switching input using a rotary switch.

For temporary use of tuners and tape recorders, it is equipped with AUX2 which can be easily connected on the front.

Built-in connection / disconnection switch for the preamplifier and power amplifier.
