Commentary
This is a high-end pre-main amplifier with Sony's audio technology and transistor technology without any compromises to improve performance.
The power amplifier section is directly coupled except for the coupling capacitor of each stage from the conventional OTL amplifier, and a direct coupling method is adopted in which the speaker is directly driven.
As a result, power, distortion characteristics, damping factor, etc. do not deteriorate even in the ultra low frequency range, and excellent characteristics are realized.
The preamp section uses a differential amplifier (differential-amplifier) that uses an FET at the first stage of each input, which gives good results in terms of characteristics and sound quality.
In addition, the phono amplifier and microphone amplifier are each independent amplifier, and the equalizer is switched to obtain ideal characteristics.
