SONY TA-1120A
¥ 96,000 (released in 1967)
¥ 102,000 (around 1968)
Commentary
A pre-main amplifier with improved performance based on the TA 1120.
Silicon transistors that are resistant to temperature and have good high-frequency characteristics are used in all stages.
At that time, Sony's catalog called for a permanent warranty for this transistor.
A quasi complimentary service SEPPP OTL circuit is used for the power amplifier circuit.
It features a lever-operated quick-access switch that allows you to choose between your regular Tuner and Phono1 at the touch of a button.
If you preset the other inputs with the selector, you can select three inputs with the lever.
Equipped with low filter and high filter.
Equipped with 2-dB step tone control.
The tone control circuit has a tone cancel switch that allows the knob to be flat in any position.
The preamp section and main amplifier section can be used independently.
As an option to be sold separately, there were a wood case with Eurasian cheek finish and a mount metal case.
