This mode integrates Cinema Studio Reverlation, which adds the reverberation of the editing theater, virtual multi-dimensional, which reproduces the virtual multi-rear speaker environment using k virtual 3D technology, and screen depth matching, which reproduces the depth feeling in the screen direction.
A dedicated button on the front panel allows you to enjoy a surround sound field with one touch.

It supports Dolby Digital and DTS decoding. These signals are decoded using a 24-bit DSP dedicated to decoding to reduce operating noise. In addition, by incorporating a hardware operation block to improve the precision of repeatedly used operations, the precision of operation is close to the limit of 24-bit DSP.
A 32-bit DSP developed exclusively by Sony for sound field processing is used for digital cinema sound processing.

Equipped with an analog direct button, the clock of the DSP circuit can be stopped when DSP processing is unnecessary for analog source, etc. In this state, each block of A/D, DSP, and D/A can be bypassed.

The frequency band has been expanded to 100 kHz to support next-generation audio formats such as SACD.

5.1 channel input jacks can also be used as input jacks for 3-1 stereo systems.

The optical digital input terminal for DVD/LD supports 96kHz/24bit, and the D/A converter also has the ability to convert to audio waveform at the same rate.

The power amplifier section uses a dynamic 5-amp system, and the same power transistor is used for each of the 5-channel amplifiers.

A power transformer with a wrapped core is used for the power supply.
The wrap-packed core is advantageous in terms of sound quality because there are no faults in the magnetic path and there is little leakage of magnetic flux. The electrolytic capacitor in the power supply section is a high-sound type.

Equipped with an FM/AM tuner.
This tuner is equipped with a preset tuning function that can store up to 30 stations at random. You can also register station names.

On-screen features allow you to view surround effects and speaker settings.

Comes with a preset wireless remote control with LCD display.
Remote control codes of Sony and major manufacturers are preset in this remote control.
