Commentary

AV amplifier equipped with Cinema Studio EX.

Equipped with the Cinema Studio EX mode, you can enjoy a surround sound field of 360 degrees all around.
This mode integrates the Cinema Studio Reverbation, which adds the reverberation of the editing theater, the virtual multi-dimensional, which reproduces the virtual multi-rear speaker environment using virtual 3D technology, and the screen depth matching, which realizes the expressive power of depth feeling in the screen direction.

It supports Dolby Digital and DTS decoding and is equipped with a 24-bit DSP with specialized decoding capabilities. This DSP has built-in hardware operation blocks, and by improving the accuracy of repeatedly used operations, the total operation accuracy reaches the limit of 24-bit DSP.
A 32-bit DSP developed exclusively by Sony for sound field processing is used for digital cinema sound arithmetic processing with clock up.

Coaxial and optical inputs for DVD support 96 kHz / 24-bit signals.
The D/A converter is also capable of converting a 96 kHz signal into an audio waveform at the same rate without downsampling.

Equipped with an analog purity control function, when DSP processing is not required on the signal path, the operation of DSP is stopped to ensure sound quality equivalent to pure amplifier.

Equipped with a headphone theater mode using virtual 3D technology, it can improve the sense of spaciousness by adding auxiliary reverberation while eliminating the feeling inside the head of the headphone, and you can enjoy 5.1 channel sound with the headphone.

The power amplifier section uses a dynamic five amplifier system in which the same power transistor is used for all five channel amplifiers.

It uses a direct ground drive system that reexamines the relationship between the power amplifier circuit, power supply, and ground. In this system, the power transformer, speaker, and ground are directly connected to improve the sense of bass volume and rhythm by supplying high-power power at a higher speed.

The power supply section uses a wrapped core power transformer. The core of this transformer does not have a part where the magnetic path is cut in a fault, so there is little leakage of magnetic flux, which is advantageous in sound quality.
We have also adopted a high-sound type electrolytic capacitor.

Built-in FM stereo / AM tuner.
With this tuner, up to 30 FM and AM stations can be stored at random, and the name of the station can also be registered.

Aluminum extruded material is used for the heat sink, and a large heat sink tuned to suppress fin squeal is adopted.

An eccentric insulator is used for the legs to prevent external vibration from being transmitted to the chassis.

A large speaker terminal is adopted.

Wireless remote control is included.
