Commentary

This speaker system uses JBL's LE8T-H as a successor to the SP-LE8T.

The unit is equipped with a 20 cm cone type full-range speaker, LE8T-H.
The diaphragm is made of white cone paper coated with Lancer Plus, a unique damping agent. The Lancer Plus gives the cone paper the optimum mass while achieving appropriate rigidity and internal loss. The high-frequency characteristics are also greatly improved by the 0.05 mm ultra-thin aluminum center dome directly attached to the voice coil bobbin.
The voice coil uses an aluminum wire edgewise wound coil with a diameter of 5.1 cm to achieve high input resistance and high efficiency. The magnetic circuit uses a low-distortion magnetic circuit to create a symmetrical magnetic field while using a magnetic material with essentially less distortion.
In addition, we have adopted a unique Faraday loop that expands the high-frequency response by flattening the impedance, die-cast frame, roll edge with good linearity, etc.

The exclusive enclosure developed by SANSUI is used.
This enclosure uses a 20 mm thick high-density particle board with excellent durability and plate vibration. It is designed as a bass reflex using a bent duct. Each joint uses a fastening structure to improve robustness. The internal structure also uses a Yonematsu reinforcement to suppress unnecessary resonance. It is packed with sound absorbing materials that effectively absorb standing waves. Special wiring materials are also used.
The exterior is finished with walnut oil, and the front grill uses cypress grating.
