Commentary

This 2-way speaker system was developed based on a design concept that emphasizes listening feeling in the listening room.

A 20 cm cone type unit is used for the low range.
This unit has been developed with a focus on extending to the ultra low range, improving damping, and eliminating the 2-way unique mid-range dent.

A 1.9 cm dome type unit is adopted for the high frequency band.
The dome part is a soft dome type using special fiber to realize soft and easy-to-hear sound quality.
The voice coil is made of C. C. A. W. (copper-coated aluminum wire), which reduces the weight of the coil and improves electrical conductivity.

The network is 12dB/oct. by L and C.
A large iron core E-type coil is used, and parallel resistance is added to apply DC braking to prevent deterioration of sound quality due to resonance when the speaker is loaded.

The enclosure uses a multi-layer structure of a hard chip board newly developed by SUNSUI, and the baffle board and back board are completely adhered to each other in an integrated assembly system.
In addition, an acoustic diffuser is installed in front of the speaker to spread the sound randomly over the entire band, and it is designed to be easy to listen without stimulation in the high range.
It is finished with a curved grating grill made of natural cypress wood, and the enclosure has an open pore finish made of walnut natural wood.
