Commentary
An ALF series speaker system developed through repeated data analysis and trial listening.
A 16.5 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
Non-pressed softwood pulp material is used for the diaphragm.
This unit adopts the newly developed direct radiation center cap structure. The normal center cap uses a cap that matches the size of the cone paper in order to give priority to the good design. The attachment method is also directly bonded to the cone paper. The S - α 7 woofer unit has a structure in which the center cap is directly bonded to the voice coil bobbin. Interference between the center cap and the cone paper is avoided, and phase characteristics and high-frequency characteristics of radiated sound are improved. In addition, the appearance is improved by attaching the Saran mesh, which does not affect sound quality, to the position of the normal cone.
In addition, the low distortion magnetic circuit enables natural reproduction in the middle and low frequency range.
A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
A soft dome made of 100% silk is used for the diaphragm, and an aluminum die-cast frame is used for the mounting part of the tweeter.
It is a magnetic resistant design.
A division type configuration is adopted for the network part.
The enclosure has a bass reflex structure with ports on the back and a two round front and back structure to eliminate the adverse effect of sound diffraction.
High-density MDF is used as the material for the baffle plate, and 30 mm thick side plates are combined.
The speaker terminal is equipped with a gold-plated banana plug speaker terminal that is directly attached to the cabinet.
Speaker cable with gold-plated banana terminal is included, and rubber stabilizer is included to improve transparency by absorbing small vibration of banana terminal.
