Commentary
Head cassette deck equipped with AMPS (automatic head-tracking) mechanism.
The mechanism part uses SANSUI's original directmatic system.
In this method, the cassette half is held by a spring to enable accurate head touch of the tape.
Hi-B hard permalloy head is used for recording / reproducing head, and 2-gap Hi-B ferrite head is used for erasing head.
Equipped with a 3-step switching type tape selector.
The front panel has a 2-color LED peak program meter.
Full logic control by computer is adopted for the operation system, and various auto operations are realized by the plunger of light operation.
Equipped with an AMPS (Automatic Tracking) mechanism convenient for playing, copying and editing cassette tapes.
You can choose between two modes : Standby and Play. In the Standby mode, press the Play button and then press the Fast-forward button to fast-forward to the beginning of the next song and wait for stop. Press the Play button and then press the Rewind button to rewind to the beginning of the current song and wait for stop.
In play mode, if you perform the same operation as in standby mode, playback will start instead of stop standby.
It is equipped with a REC-MUTE switch which can make silent recording part with one touch operation.
In combination with the optional timer (sold separately), you can record your absence or play an alarm clock.
Equipped with Dolby NR as a noise reduction system.
Remote operation is possible by combining with the separately sold remote control unit.
