Commentary
This is an MD recorder from the compact component aelf series.
A 1-bit converter is used for the A/D and D/A converters, and high-quality parts are introduced to match the ALF series, which emphasizes sound quality.
You can enter the names of songs and artists in alphabet and katakana on the original disc where you recorded your favorite songs.
The dot-matrix display makes the text easy to read, enabling not only commercially available discs containing text information but also input of original titles.
It is equipped with a 5-mode edit function that allows you to edit recorded music. JOIN combines two adjacent songs into one song, DIVIDE divides one song into two songs from the middle, RENUMBER reorders songs, ERASE erases songs, and ALL ERASE erases all songs.
Using a multi-jog dial, you can set the REC level, enter title text, and make fine adjustments during editing.
Power is automatically turned on just by inserting the disk when power is turned off.
ALF series and MD - α 7 can be connected with the system control cable.
This allows you to use the functions of power ON/OFF, computer selector, timer operation and CD-synchronized recording.
There was a side wood sold separately.
