Commentary

CD player with multi-bit dual 24-bit DAC and HDCD decoder.

The D/A converter is equipped with a 24-bit BiCMOS DAC from Barr Brown, independent of L/R.
Taking advantage of the multi-bit type, which is less susceptible to jitter components, which are signal fluctuations in the time axis direction, the advanced sign magnitude system has been enhanced in detail and performance.
The HDCD decoder also improves the playback quality of CDs.

A toroidal transformer is used for the power supply part and two silmic electrolytic capacitors are used.

The output amplifier consists of a dual FET input at the front stage and an ultra-low distortion and high-speed dual op amplifier at the rear stage.
In addition, the mechanical and analog power supply sections are completely separated at the board level, and the secondary side of the transformer is divided into analog, digital, drive and display sections to prevent various interference from occurring in the power supply section.

The chassis has a double chassis structure consisting of a 2 mm pure copper inner chassis and an outer chassis made of special rubber material. The outer chassis is equipped with a mechanical floating CD mechanism to block the influence of noise caused by driving. The inner chassis is equipped with a toroidal transformer, a block capacitor for the power supply, and a separate board for the mechanical control system and analog system. Thus, a function separation vibration countermeasure is achieved. The toroidal transformer is equipped with a triple vibration countermeasure consisting of a copper plate, Teflon sheet, and mechanical floating to eliminate mechanical interference.
In addition, 0.68 mm pure copper is loosened inside the bonnet with special rubber material to reduce magnetic strain and eliminate squeal and resonance.

Equipped with a digital attenuator, it can be changed from 0 dB to -24dB in 1 dB steps with the body and remote controller.
