Commentary
A stereo receiver developed by inheriting the development policy of the PB series.
The front-end of the FM tuner section uses an FET and an ultra-precision 3-row linear varicon to obtain high sensitivity and stability. In particular, various RF characteristics such as distortion factor and capture ratio are improved.
In addition, the 4-stage IF amplifier and 3-stage limiter circuit provide a sufficient limiter effect, enabling stable FM broadcasting even in noise-prone areas and low-power areas.
The tuner panel has a unique round dial that floats on the green.
It also has two FM antenna terminals and a high-sensitivity ferrite bar antenna for AM.
A quasi complimentary service SEPPP OTL circuit is used for the main amplifier.
Low-noise silicon transistors are used in the equalizer circuit, and all-stage silicon transistors are used in the low-frequency section to improve the signal-to-noise ratio and achieve low distortion.
There are two Phono inputs.
The tone control section is equipped with Klix/Klukš top-style triple tone control, so you can adjust not only general low and high range but also middle range.
It is equipped with functions such as high and low filter, loudness control, mode switch, tape monitor circuit and headphone terminal.
