Commentary

This medium-sized FM/AM stereo receiver was released as a home tuner amplifier for the era of FM broadcasting.

A 3-row varicon is used for the FM front end and an FET is used for the RF stage to improve the interference rejection capability.
The AGC circuit also improves the selectivity in a strong electric field.

The 4-stage IF amplifier and 3-stage limiter circuit provide sufficient limiter characteristics.

The noise canceler eliminates the noise from stereo reception without cutting the high-frequency audible range.

The intermediate amplifier section uses CR-type tone control with low-noise silicon transistors.

A muting switch is installed to eliminate inter-station noise during FM reception.

The FM multi-circuit employs a switching system with high stability and reliability.

It is equipped with a pure electronic FM stereo / mono switching function. In FM-AUTO, the electronic switch automatically operates when the FM broadcast changes from mono to stereo, and in a weak electric field, it automatically becomes mono and does not receive noisy stereo reception.
You can check the stereo broadcast transmission with the stereo indicator.

It is equipped with an FM antenna input change-over switch, enabling local disturbance switching, enabling distortion-free reception even in strong electric field areas.

By using a ceramic filter in the AM receiver, the selectivity is improved and the beat interference rejection capability is excellent. By using a new AGC system, a stable reception condition can be obtained from Oire power to large input.

Equipped with two circuit FM antenna input terminals of 300 Ω and 75 Ω.

Silicon transistors are used in everything from the audio circuit to the tuner section to improve SN.

SEPP-OTL system of complimentary service Darlington circuit using mesa silicon transistor for power transistor is adopted.
In addition, a short-cut fuse is used to protect the power transistor.

It is equipped with functions such as a high filter, loudness control, DIN connector, tape monitor circuit, headphone jack, ground terminal and multiplex separation adjuster.
