Commentary
A 4-channel receiver equipped with Sansui QS synthesizer and decoder functions.
It supports 2-channel source and 4-channel matrix source, and can be converted to 4-channel and played back.
Discrete 4-channel tapes and other 4-channel sources can also be 4-channel.
It is equipped with a mode switch that moves the front position of channel 4 freely backward or to the right.
It is also possible to output two channels of sound simultaneously from both front and rear, or from only front or rear.
A specially selected low-noise silicon transistor is used for the preamp section, an NF-type tone control is used for tone control, a loudness switch and a slide-type volume control for front and rear volume control.
The FM section employs a front end using a dual-gate FET and a 3-row precision varicon, and an IF stage using a 4-element ceramic filter and IC.
A large ferrite bar antenna is used for the AM part.
