Commentary

This AV surround amplifier is equipped with a DSP / AI field control that automatically adjusts the sound field and a FIR TONE digital tone control that provides more realistic playback.

Equipped with FIR TONE developed by SANSUI.
This is a full-digital tone control using an FIR filter that eliminates the output time difference from the filter and makes the phase characteristics linear.
In addition, three slope modes with different frequency characteristics can be set, and the tone can be adjusted without losing the sound quality of the source when playing stereo in 2 ch mode.

The power amplifier section uses a discrete configuration for all of the front, center and rear, and ensures power balance by unifying each channel at a high level.
As the center is a 2-channel independent mono-amplifier for practical use, a dual-center system is also possible.

In order to reproduce stereo and surround sound more effectively, we have introduced twin monaural power units to improve crosstalk between channels.

In order to prevent noise generated in digital parts such as DSPs and microcomputers from adversely affecting sound quality, dedicated power transformers are used for both analog and digital parts.

In order to realize high sound quality as an amplifier, carefully selected quality parts are used mainly for the audio part.
It uses D/A converters with improved S/N, GSIII electrolytic capacitors with high sound quality and large capacity, Sa film capacitors, sound-proofing resistors and copper parts.

It is equipped with SANSUI original DSP, 3 high arithmetic precision DSP elements, and the surround effect is obtained by the originally developed full digital processing technology.
Not only the steering logic circuit but also the auto input balance and the Dolby Modified B Type NR are all digitally processed. This greatly improves the S/N ratio and channel separation, and improves the sense of position and movement.
In the Original Concert and Theater modes, the signal output from the steering logic can be further processed by the DSP to make the Dolby surround source look more natural and effective without loss of separation.
In addition, it is equipped with 3 ch Theater mode which distributes the surround components to the front.

Equipped with original DSP surround, software recorded in normal 2 ch or monaural can be digitally processed into surround sound.
There are 10 original DSP surround modes for each situation such as HALL, JAZZ CLUB and DOME. Each mode has its own effect level, initial reflection time, low-pass filter, room size and reverberation time (Church mode only). You can enjoy surround effects.
You can also create an arbitrary sound field by adjusting parameters based on the surround mode. The effect level can be adjusted from 0 to 100%, the initial reflection time from 0 to 100 ms, the low-pass filter from 1 to 10 kHz, the room size from 1 to 16 levels, and the reverberation time from 0.5 to 5.0 sec. Each parameter can be stored in memory.

Parametric Tone, the tone control for surround playback, allows you to adjust the front, center, and rear low, middle, and high ranges.
Especially in the middle range, the center frequency can be switched in 3 stages.

It has an on-screen function that divides the investigation situation into four types and displays them on the connected screen.

SANSUI is equipped with a DSP AI field control function that uses built-in artificial intelligence to recognize the characteristics of the software to be played back and flexibly changes the sound field to the value most suitable for performance.
Adaptive Automatic Adjustment (AAA) automatically adjusts the surround effect based on the standard sound field set by SUNSUI, and keeps the lowest sound field condition in accordance with the performance of the music being played. For example, when playing a vocal-centered program, the surround effect is increased in the vocal part to emphasize the spaciousness. In an orchestra, the surround effect can be added while taking advantage of the natural spaciousness of the program itself.
In addition, AAC (Adaptive Active Control) automatically controls the direction of sound based on the set sound field. For example, in a program of live recording, as a basic operation, the stage is performed with the vocal part, and the level of the audience side is emphasized when there is applause or cheers.

The D/A converter is equipped with an advanced interpolative D/A converter that combines the features of 1-bit and multi-bit types. This eliminates the 0 cross distortion in principle and provides a high S/N ratio and dynamic range.

The front, center and rear terminals are equipped with pre-out terminals for connecting power amplifiers, and mono terminals for sub-woofers are also equipped.

Equipped with a Video1 / Rec Selector that allows you to reverse different sources during playback.

Equipped with a learning remote controller that allows easy operation with a multi-controller.
