Commentary

An integrated amplifier made in commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the 607 series.

The power stage employs a 2SK405/2SJ115 pair MOS FET capable of high-speed amplification. The advanced α -X balance circuit demonstrates the capabilities of the elements, providing high stability and fine expression power.
The advanced α -X balance circuit has a structure in which dedicated amplifiers are mounted on the + side and - side of the output respectively. The circuit itself cancels external noise and in-phase distortion by the push-pull method in which a total of four amplifiers drive the speaker from both directions. In addition, it realizes low impedance, clean and excellent operating characteristics by combining it with the NEW diamond differential circuit capable of supplying instantaneous large current.

A newly developed power transformer and electrolytic capacitor are used in the power supply section. Moreover, the power supply section is a closed loop configuration that is completely independent and isolated from the earth. As a result, adverse effects on the music signal caused by unbalanced power supply, etc. are suppressed.

The chassis structure uses reinforced twin monaural construction.
In this structure, the power supply section consisting of a power transformer and an electrolytic capacitor is placed at the center, and the power units are arranged symmetrically. This realizes an ideal weight balance and effectively prevents sound quality degradation due to the inherent vibration of the amplifier generated by the power supply and signal systems.

In order to analyze and effectively control the transmission path of vibration and the source of magnetic strain, Integrated Mechanical Feedback is introduced.
In this system, isolation parts made of pure copper with large internal loss and excellent vibration absorption capacity are abundantly used, and vibration, resonance and magnetostriction are completely eliminated in all parts including power supply and signal systems, such as between transformer and chassis, MOS FET mounting part, and master volume fixing part.

We have carefully considered the quality of the parts and have adopted non-magnetic, vibration-proof, low-impedance and high-speed parts such as specially designed power transformers and electrolytic capacitors.

Equipped with a power amplifier / direct function that directly inputs high-output digital music signals to the power amplifier section.
In addition to the normal input terminal, a balanced input terminal is also installed to achieve high-purity transmission and amplification.

Equipped with source power direct, all line input signals can be transmitted to the power amplifier with one touch operation without passing through any accessory function.

It is equipped with a REC selector function. Even if a CD player is connected to Power Amp Direct, it is possible to record from another source while listening. For example, you can listen to the source input with Normal 1 and record from another source such as CD with Normal 2.

Phono equalizers are installed for MC and MM cartridges.

There are 11 input terminals, all of which are gold-plated.

A 6-row detent volume is used for the volume, and an aluminum shaved volume knob is used for the volume knob.
