Commentary
Midbus unit of Technical Audio Devices (TAD).
Carbon graphite is used for the diaphragm, which has excellent characteristics as a vibration system material such as high Young's modulus and moderate internal loss.
The cone shape is derived from optical measurement using a laser and careful hearing, and clear sound quality with little split vibration of the cone is achieved.
In addition to a voice coil bobbin with excellent heat resistance, a heat-resistant edgewise long voice coil with a heat-resistant coating is used for the drive system.
In addition, low distortion and high input resistance have been realized by introducing a magnetic circuit using ferrite magnet with 14,500 gauss magnetic flux density, new material and new shape for magnetic pole, and magnetic flux short circuit.
