Commentary
46 cm cone type woofer that can be used not only for sub-woofers but also for 2-way use.
A high-rigidity pulp cone containing Kevlar fiber is used for the vibration system, and a polymer film is laminated on the surface of the cone to ensure drip-proof performance and eliminate sound quality degradation due to split vibration of the cone.
Magnetic circuits using ferrite magnets with a magnetic flux density of 11,200 gauss and oxygen-free copper edge-wise voice coils with a winding width of 23 mm realize accurate driving force even with an amplitude of 15 mm and high durability without mechanical damage up to 40 mm.
By adopting a unique heat radiation mechanism, long-term regenerative capacity is also improved.
The aluminum die-cast frame supports the magnetic circuit with seven arms, and resonance measures are taken for clear reproduction.
