Commentary
This is a 20 cm cone type full range unit that uses carefully selected materials and thoroughly pursues the effect on playback sound.
The cone uses a shallow curved cone to achieve excellent directional characteristics and sound mid-range reproduction. In addition, an acoustic damping agent is applied to suppress split vibration in the middle and high range.
Waveform Cross Edge is used for the edge.
A ferrite magnet with a diameter of 140 mm is used for the magnetic circuit, and a pure copper cap is used for the pole piece to reduce distortion.
The voice coil uses aluminum ribbon wire with has undergone alumite insulation treatment.
Compared with conventional voice coil wires, this voice coil has less space between the voice coils and has higher conductor occupancy rate in the magnetic circuit, resulting in higher efficiency.
The center cap is made of duralumin. In addition, a special braking process is applied to the inside to suppress split vibration in the high-frequency range.
Aluminum die-cast frame is used for the frame.
Mounting bracket is attached.
