Commentary
AM/FM stereo tuner developed by inheriting the design philosophy of F-8800X.
We have achieved low distortion rate and high S / N ratio by adopting IC exclusively for Pioneer.
In addition, in order to obtain high-quality sound, we have adopted a new quadrature detector in which a microinductor and a detector transformer are housed in the same case. This reduces the distributed capacitance and improves the input-to-strain characteristics and temperature characteristics.
The pilot signal auto-cancel circuit is built-in so that the pilot signal can be canceled without losing sound quality.
In addition, even if the level changes, it automatically follows and reliably cancels out.
In the AM tuner section, the newly developed ferrite core is used for the OSC coil, and the temperature characteristic is good and stability is excellent. Therefore, the tuning deviation is suppressed and accuracy is improved.
It has a built-in Rec level check mechanism and can send a 330 Hz signal at 50% FM modulation level.
This allows you to adjust the appropriate level on a tape deck.
FET with low noise figure and 3-row varicon are adopted.
Uses a 2-meter system with independent signal and tuning.
There was a wood cabinet sold separately.
Equipped with a digital signal meter.
It has two antenna inputs and an SR terminal that can be linked with Pioneer's system.
Wireless remote control is included.
