Commentary
FM/AM synthesizer tuner equipped with DDD type IV.
It is equipped with a newly developed third order distortion canceler to eliminate harmonic distortion and realize clearer sound.
In addition, it is equipped with DDD Type IV, which eliminates the distortion caused by the IF filter when converting radio waves to digital and directly demodulating them to audio signals by feeding the demodulated signal back to the input section with Pioneer's original linearizer.
In addition, by installing a Normal/Super Narrow IF band switching circuit that operates at an appropriate point by an independent distortion adjustment circuit and a low-pass filter by FDNR with improved SN ratio and distortion, higher sensitivity and higher selectivity are possible, resulting in higher SN and lower distortion rate.
A 4-row front end is used for the front end.
In addition, a twin varicap is used for the tuning element, and a MOS FET is used for the RF amplifier, making up a high-precision receiver as a balanced mixer circuit.
The front-end input section is equipped with a 3-stage switching RF attenuator circuit, enabling reception with less interference from adjacent stations.
It is compatible with the AM stereo broadcast transmission and works even when AM is received. Noise reduction and other measures are taken to improve sound quality.
The MPX part is equipped with MPX NR using original IC in order to suppress signal noise generated when stereo reception is performed in areas with weak radio waves.
This MPX NR works for both FM and AM.
It uses a honeycomb chassis with high rigidity and a large insulator with excellent vibration damping characteristics.
In addition, audio parts are used to improve sound quality.
Equipped with rotary encoder that allows you to enjoy the operation feeling of analog sense.
It is equipped with a spectrum simulated stereo function that provides natural stereo feeling when receiving FM and AM monaural signals.
40 FM / AM stations can be preset at random.
It also has a direct access tuning function that makes it easy to select a desired station.
It is equipped with a fine tuning function that demonstrates its power when receiving a station receiving interference from neighboring stations.
(10 kHz Step / FM Only)
Equipped with a digital signal meter.
It has two antenna inputs and an SR terminal that can be linked with Pioneer's system.
Wireless remote control is included.
