Commentary
A synthesizer tuner equipped with newly developed technologies such as DDDtypeIV and MPX NR in pursuit of low distortion and high S/N.
It is equipped with DDDtypeIV, an advanced version of DDD that realizes low distortion and high S/N by converting radio waves into digital signals and directly demodulating them into audio signals.
In order to reduce the distortion generated by the IF filter, the demodulation signal is fed back to the input section by a newly developed linearizer developed by Pioneer to eliminate it, and higher S/N separation is achieved.
The front end is equipped with a high-precision 4-row front end.
The tuning element consists of a twin varicap, an RF amplifier of dual MOS-FET with excellent linearity, and a high-precision receiver as a balanced mixer circuit, improving intermodulation characteristics by more than 10 dB.
In addition, an RF attenuator circuit is mounted on the front-end input to further enhance the interference rejection capability and reduce the influence of adjacent stations.
It is equipped with MPX NR by newly developed original IC, and S/N ratio is improved even in weak electric field reception.
The honeycomb chassis, large insulators, and local OSC modules are filled with resin to prevent vibration.
In addition, technologies such as a low-pass filter using FDNR with improved S/N and distortion, and normal / super narrow switching which operates with an independent distortion adjustment circuit are adopted.
In addition, it uses audio-only parts and a power supply using oxygen-free copper wires.
It is equipped with functions such as spectrum simulated stereo, 36 stations random preset, and 2-system antenna input to provide natural stereo feeling even in AM and FM monaural.
Wireless remote control is included.
