Commentary
AM/FM stereo tuner with 2-step selection.
The FM front end consists of a four link varicon and a dual-gate MOS type FET.
The IF part adopts two stage switching of Wide and Narrow, and SN ratio is improved by newly developed IC.
The MPX section has a built-in pilot signal auto-cancel circuit, which suppresses the degradation of the high-frequency range and enables wide-band playback.
It is equipped with a REC level check switch that helps to set the recording level of the deck when FM recording. It can record FM broadcast with high SN ratio and low distortion.
It is equipped with circuits such as MPX noise filter, fixed and variable two system output terminals, multi-path observation terminal, muting switch, etc.
