Commentary
A surround set developed as an all-in-one home theater system.
Center unit section
A DVD/CD player and an FM/AM tuner are integrated into the center unit.
The player's pickup section uses a 2-wavelength twin-focus pickup directly connected to high-end machines.
In addition to DVD software and music CDs, you can play MP3 format CD-R/RW discs and video-mode recording DVD-R/RW discs.
AN MP3 format CD-R/RW disc is an MPEG1 Audio Layer3 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz file. Only discs recorded with either MP3 or MP3 extension can be played. The number of songs and folders per disc can be up to 250.
Surround formats such as Dolby Digital and DTS are supported.
It is also equipped with seven DSP modes that provide the best surround sound for movies, music and other software, as well as six Pioneer advanced theater modes.
Equipped with AUTO mode that automatically identifies and plays back audio channels (stereo / surround) such as 5.1 ch and 2.1 ch recorded in software.
It is equipped with manner mode.
This function keeps the volume of speech and vocals intact while suppressing explosions and other sounds to prevent sound from leaking into neighboring rooms.
Equipped with Midnight listening mode.
Effectively plays back surround sound even at a low volume during nighttime viewing.
Equipped with a child lock mode.
This function prevents malfunction of the operation buttons of the main unit.
The input / output jacks are equipped with an analog audio input Route 3, one video output, one S2 output, one optical input, and one optical output.
A touch sensor system is used for the disc open / close button and play button of the body.
Built-in three types of timers : Wake up, Sleep, and Rec (when a dedicated MD recorder is connected)
Center / Satellite speakers
The unit uses a 8.7 cm cone type full-range speaker.
The enclosure is hermetically sealed.
Powered subwoofer section
The compact center unit is realized by incorporating the amplifier part, which is usually independent, into the subwoofer.
The unit is equipped with 16 cm cone type woofer.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.

It uses a separate display with a free layout.
It comes with a TV preset and a multi-control remote control with learning function.
Sold Separately
There was a special MD deck MJ-HT77 as an option sold separately.
The MJ-HT77 supports MDLP recording and playback which can record up to 5 hours and 20 minutes on an 80 minute disc.
It also has a group function that makes it easier to search for and play back songs recorded with MDLP.
It is equipped with a digital REC volume that can freely change the recording level when recording.
The MJ-HT77 can be operated with the remote controller attached to the HTZ-77DV.
