Commentary
A surround sound set with various functions from DVD/CD to FM/AM.
Receiver section
Hardware such as DVD/CD, FM/AM tuner and amplifier is condensed into a compact size in the body.
In addition to DVD software and music CDs, you can play MP3 format CD-R/RW discs and video-mode recording DVD-R/RW discs.
AN MP3 format CD-R/RW disc is an MPEG1 Audio Layer3 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz file. Only discs recorded with either MP3 or MP3 extension can be played. The number of songs and folders per disc can be up to 250.
Surround formats such as Dolby Digital and DTS are supported.
It is also equipped with seven DSP modes that provide the best surround sound for movies, music and other software, as well as six Pioneer advanced theater modes.
Equipped with AUTO mode that automatically identifies and plays back audio channels (stereo / surround) such as 5.1 ch and 2.1 ch recorded in software.
It is equipped with manner mode.
This function keeps the volume of speech and vocals intact while suppressing explosions and other sounds to prevent sound from leaking into neighboring rooms.
Equipped with Midnight listening mode.
Effectively plays back surround sound even at a low volume during nighttime viewing.
Equipped with a child lock mode.
This function prevents malfunction of the operation buttons of the main unit.
Equipped with the Theater Bass mode, you can choose from 3 levels of deep bass levels suitable for the software.
It has two built-in timers : Wake-up and Sleep.
The input / output terminals are equipped with two analog audio inputs, one audio output, one video output, one S2 output, and one optical input.
Center / Satellite speakers
The unit uses a 8.7 cm cone type full-range speaker.
The enclosure is hermetically sealed.
Subwoofer section
The unit is equipped with 13 cm cone type woofer.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
It is designed in a small size of approximately 25 cm height to fit neatly around the TV.
