Commentary
A speaker system that pursues quality sound beyond its size.
The basic design of the S-X6 is a simple 2-way design, and a super-high frequency unit is added after determining an appropriate crossover value.
A 22 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The diaphragm uses carbon graphite, which has excellent physical properties such as high rigidity, high internal loss, high airtightness, and no aging.
A large ferrite magnet of 134 mm outer diameter with high magnetic flux density is used for the magnetic circuit.
A 5.2 cm cone type tweeter is installed in the high range.
Carbon graphite is used for the diaphragm as well as woofer.
The ultra-high frequency band is equipped with Pioneer's exclusive full-surface drive ribbon type Super Tweeter.
Each unit has a diamond cut ring design on the edge.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system and a symmetrical design to improve sound localization.
The exterior has a black matte finish.
