Pioneer S-UK5
¥ 100,000 (2 sets, sold in 1994)
Commentary
John Bamford, who was writing as an audio critic in the UK, joined Pioneer High Fidelity LTD. and developed a high-class speaker system designed to pursue more authentic music playback among the UK series.
The low range is equipped with a 14 cm cone shaped woofer which uses conifer pulp produced in Northern Europe for corn.
Our unique network-less technology eliminates the network by allowing the frequency response to decay smoothly as it goes to the higher range.
A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter with catenary curve for high rigidity is installed in the high range.
The enclosure is fully mirror-finished and has an internal volume of 18.0L.
Uses a large gold plated input terminal.
