The Tallboy type speaker system which inherited the technology cultivated with the monitor speaker technology of Pioneer, and adopted the vertical twin scheme.

The vertical twin scheme which allotted the Woofer up and down focusing on the tweeter and which is an in-line coaxial placement double Woofer system is adopted.
Thereby, the sound energy of two Woofers concentrates in the center, and it is in agreement with the axis of a tweeter. For this reason, from a bass region to upper register, all the sound comes to be reproduced considering a tweeter as a hub.
The directivity and phase response which were excellent as a result are realized.

Two 20cm cone type Woofers which adopted the diaphragm laminated by the high polymer film based on the cone currently used by TAD (Technical Audio Devices) are adopted as low-pass.
The AlNiCo-Magnet is adopted as a magnetic circuit.

The 3cm dome shape tweeter which used the new-materials ceramic carbon diaphragm of 99.9% of the carbon purity is adopted as a high region.
The AlNiCo-Magnet is adopted as a magnetic circuit like low-pass.

Each unit is mounted by the mid ship mounting scheme.
Each unit is fixed to the inner baffle prepared in the interior of an enclosure in order not to tell the unnecessary oscillation which a unit emits to a baffle.
