A speaker system designed to expand the low-frequency f-range and the dynamic range over the entire band to accommodate digital sources.

A 32 cm cone woofer using Pioneer's original EBD method (Electronic Bass Drive) is mounted in the low range.
In the EBD method, the woofer is equipped with two voice coils, one for the full range and the other for the low range. The low range voice coil is equipped with only an ultra-low range signal to electrically expand the low range.
Carbon graphite cone, which is lightweight, highly rigid and has high internal loss, is used for the diaphragm, enabling quick response to sharp input. In addition, by adding sub-bobbin, the cylindrical strength of voice coil bobbin is increased to eliminate transmission loss, and by using DRS (Dynamic Response Suspension) for the support mechanism, excellent linearity is obtained.

The mid-range features a 7.6 cm dome mid-range.
This unit inherits the concept of Technical Audio Devices (TAD) and realizes excellent response by adopting a large-diameter beryllium dome for the diaphragm and a tangential edge for the edge.
In addition, a 156 mm diameter strontium ferrite magnetic circuit is adopted for the magnetic circuit.

A beryllium ribbon type tweeter is installed in the high range.
In addition to an extremely light diaphragm with almost the same mass as the vibrating air and a powerful magnetic circuit, DSR is adopted. It is supported by three suspensions with different mechanical impedance so that a mode in which vibration is reflected to the fixed end does not occur. This improves initial motion sensitivity at a low level, eliminates accompanying sounds that are not normally present in signals, and reduces distortion.
In addition, the directivity is expanded by adopting a new shape horn.

In addition to adopting a balanced network for the network section, we have achieved a low distortion factor by eliminating magnetic materials that cause distortion from the signal path, including screws and nuts. In addition, we have improved the grade of the device, by using oxygen-free copper wires for lead wires and choke coils, and by using capacitors with ESR (equivalent series resistance) superior to conventional film types, we have reduced the nonlinearity and constant loss of the device.

Conifer particle board is used for the enclosure, Apiton plywood is used for the reinforcing bar, and the structure closer to the ideal is realized by the design using modal analysis.
The exterior has a marble ebony finish.
