Commentary

A speaker system developed based on the technologies and ideas of the S 3000.

In order to prevent the vibration of the speaker unit from being transmitted to the baffle plate and generating unnecessary vibration, the woofer is firmly fixed to the 40 mm thick bottom plate with an aluminum die-cast frame. In addition, the mid-range is fixed to the rear part of the two layer baffle plate, and all the tweeters are fixed to the baffle plate.
By the way, the baffle plate is 50 mm thick by laminating 2 sheets of high-density conifer particle board of 25 mm thick with special adhesive.
By using a highly rigid baffle plate and an adhesive, unwanted resonance of the baffle plate is reduced.

In addition, a dynamic stabilizer is employed to suppress the resonance of the baffle plate, which is most susceptible to vibration.
This is a steel pipe frame that firmly fixes the baffle plate and the left and right side plates, greatly reducing the vibration level of the band that influences vocal playback.
The side plate and top plate are 25 mm thick, the back plate is 30 mm thick, and the bottom plate is 40 mm thick, making it highly rigid.

For the low range, a 30 cm cone type woofer with a new embedded carbon graphite diaphragm is used.
It is driven by a large diameter strontium ferrite magnet with a diameter of φ 140x20mm and a magnetic flux density of 14000 Gauss. In addition, a linear drive magnetic circuit (LDMC) is adopted to improve the linearity of the driving force due to amplitude.

12 cm cone type skoker is used for the middle area.
New expanded carbon graphite cone is used for the diaphragm, and ceramic carbon is combined for the center dome.
The magnetic circuit uses a large diameter strontium ferrite magnet of φ 100x14mm that realizes a magnetic flux density of 15000 gauss.

A 2.5 cm ceramic carbon tweeter is used for the high frequency band.
Ceramic carbon with a purity of 99.9% does not use any base material or binder, and achieves excellent properties.
The magnetic circuit uses a 19000 Gauss magnetic flux density and a φ 85x10mm strontium ferrite magnet.

The network uses a 5 mm thick hardboard, and the mounting of the board to the enclosure is provided with anti-vibration material to block vibration.
In addition, the enclosure is a round baffle to suppress diffraction phenomena.

There was a speaker stand which can be filled with sound absorbing material such as sand or blanket inside, sold separately.
