Commentary

This speaker system was developed to reproduce sound quality that is full of sound field feeling like a theater.
It consists of a vertical twin with a sub-woofer, and the design was matched with the Pioneer 40-inch projection TV released at that time.

A vertical twin system with two a tweeter and two woofers has been adopted to reproduce a rich sound field and obtain clear sound localization.

A 20 cm cone type woofer is used for the ultra low band and an 18 cm cone type unit is used for the low band.

A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter with a W. F. director is used for the high band.
This director controls the energy response with the woofer on the time axis, and also controls the directivity by the horn shape so that the wave front of each unit matches at the listening point.
A neodymium magnet is used for the magnetic circuit.

Each unit of the network is placed separately and independently, and the Woofer network board is a floating structure to reduce the influence of magnetism.

The enclosure uses a round baffle to reduce sound diffraction.
The tweeter is mounted in a baffle plate to reduce the influence of internal sound pressure.
